All About Taylor!

I know it's been a really long time since I last updated. Having a baby keeps you busy. Plus it's kinda hard when your internet doesn't work.

So, Taylor Ann Coleman was born 8:23 pm on July 23, 2009. She was 7 pounds exactly. She had jaundice pretty bad after she was first born, so we had to keep a bili blanket on her all the time. The blanket glows a bluish green color, and everyone called her the little glow bug because it looked like she was glowing. She got over her jaundice, and now she is doing great! She didn't sleep at night for almost 2 months. Then we got about 2 weeks of her sleeping through the night. Now she's teething, so she's fussy and crying at night.

Yes, teething. She's not even 3 months old yet! She's getting her 2 front top teeth in. Taylor is amazing. At 6 weeks, she was pulling her binky out of her mouth and then putting it back in all by herself. She talks a lot. She can roll over onto her side (she can almost get all the way, but we're still working on that). She was able to hold her head up really early on. And she's very active. She's such a squirmy baby, she loves to move around. She can't crawl or anything so when we lay her on her back, she pushes with her arms and legs and she scoots all over the place. Oh and she smiles all the time. She tries to laugh, but it sounds kinda weird. It's crazy!

Taylor loves her swing, she loves the TV, she loves people, and she especially loves her mobile. We'll put her in her crib and wind up the mobile, and she starts to kick and swing her arms back and forth. Her eyes get all big and she squeals and talks. Her mobile can keep her entertained for an hour.
So here are a few pictures of Taylor. I have a lot more on my facebook page.

This was at the hospital right after she was born.

She always makes a peace sign, she's so funny

In between semesters in April, Clay and I went to Las Vegas for the week. It was a lot of fun. We got to stay on the strip for a really cheap price, and we stayed on the strip the whole time. We got slurpees, ate out, saw some shows, saw all of the hotels, and walked a lot. My feet and legs got really swollen. If anyone's thinking about going to Vegas, I recommend doing it when you're not pregnant. We had a lot of fun, though. Clay wants to go back someday.

The first weekend in May, I went to Parker for the weekend to see my family. They posted some pictures so I stole them so I can put them on here. I will get pictures of Vegas on here soon.

I got to see my puppy, too.

Well, I only have 10 weeks left. I'm getting really excited. I can't wait until she's here.

Found Out Yesterday......

We went to the doctor yesterday and we found out we're having a little girl!!! She wasn't being very good so we couldn't get very clear pictures of her. The doctor put some of the pictures on a CD for us, but I can't get the disk to open on Clay's computer. So I will post them as soon as I can.

A little girl .... so exciting!!!!

Pregnant People!!

Ok, once I started telling people I'm pregnant, everyone started telling me they're pregnant, too! There are a lot of people in Salem and up here that are expecting, and these long lost friends of mine are popping out of nowhere with bulging bellies. It's crazy!

Well, I'm starting to feel a bit fat in my regular clothes. Maternity clothes are still big and loose, but it's so much more comfortable than all these tight fitting clothes. And I found the one thing I absolutely HAVE to have while being pregnant.... the Bella Band. Check it out on www.ingridandisabel.com It's so cool! There's a cheaper imitation Be Band on target.com.

I find out if it's a boy or girl on the 26th, so I'll be sure to post it on here when I find out.

Catch up

I know it's been a long time. I'm sorry. Let me catch everyone up....

We went to Corning for Christmas. The drive was absolutely terrible. We had a lot of fun there and enjoyed spending time with family. We spent Christmas Eve with the Carpenters and Christmas morning with the Colemans. On Christmas Eve the kids did this really cute nativity play and Clay even got to be in it. It was a lot of fun on Christmas morning watching everyone open their presents.

After we got back from California, my sister Allie and step-sister Amber came up here to go to school. They're liking it so far, and I really like being able to see them more often.

On Saturday Aaron, Clay and I went ice fishing on Rigby Lake. There's not a whole lot of water there right now, and there were a ton of people out. We still managed to catch some fish, though. They were trout. And right now I have stinky trout fillets soaking in a bowl in my fridge.

Thanksgiving

We went to Parker, Colorado for Thanksgiving and we had a lot of fun. I am so sad because I completely forgot to take pictures there. So, no pictures in this post... sorry. We left on Monday morning, and got there that night. We spent a total of $30 in gas to get out there- it was amazing. We just hung around with my family mostly. Clay and I went into Bass Pro Shop in Denver. That's a cool store. Clay really liked it there. We went fishing at the Pinery Lake- and I felt like a redneck the whole time. It's a really nice neighborhood in Parker.

Thanksgiving was good. My mom made really good food. We had my family, my Unlce Kelly's family, and some guy from Kelly's work named Chris there. I got to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. My favorite parts were the Rockettes (of course) and James Taylor singing 'America, The Beautiful'. Clay even got to watch his dog show. After dinner, we watched football and went through the ads. On Friday we were at Walmart at 4:45 am. We got a really nice vaccum for $28 dollars. Our old one died, so we've been sweeping the carpet. I got some other really good deals. After Walmart, we went to Lowe's and I got Clay's main gift. It's so cool. I'll tell you all what it is after Christmas. Then we went to Old Navy, Ulta, and Harry and David. We got some amazing deals. It was a lot of fun. On Friday night, I saw Twilight! Oh man, it is so good! There are a few things that are different from the book, but it's still wonderful!

On Saturday we drove home. We hit a few white- out's because the snow was so bad. Around Cheyenne/Laramie, WY was the worst. It took us a lot longer to get home. Oh, and everyone knows that our sugar gliders had babies, right? They had two little babies. Well, over Thanksgiving while we were gone the mommy and the smaller baby died. We don't know what happened. Janelle and Trevor were taking care of them, and they said one day they were fine, and the next the were dying. They did everything they could to save them, it just wasn't enough. I'm so glad that Janelle and Trevor were there, though, because they were able to keep the other baby alive. He's definitely not old enough to be on his own. He's not even eating solid foods yet. They bought some goat's milk and hand fed him every few hours while were were gone. We've been doing that since we've been back. He's such a cute little guy. We call him Curious George. He loves to explore. He's so adorable. Maybe I'll post pictures of him on here next time.

Election

Ok, I'm not happy about Obama winning. He's going to turn our country into a socialist nation. That is NOT what we were created to be. And if you work hard to make money and be successful, he's going to punish you and tax the crap out of you, and give your money to some lazy guy who thinks he deserves money without working for it. Everyone's saying he's black, but he's just as much white as he is black. And this is the worst part....... was he even really born in Hawaii??? If he wasn't born in Kenya, why not prove it and show a birth certificate?? He refuses to provide proof of his American citizenship. What does he have to hide? Click on this link http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=78671 and read the article..... it's interesting. How can I support Obama as president if I can't trust him to tell the truth about who he is? I'm not happy.
